BC residents who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, studying at a public Canadian post-secondary school or programme when applying. A private school qualifies only if the programme is unavailable publicly. Graduate and postgraduate students are ineligible. A recent reference letter is required. Demonstrate financial need.
Use the Fall 2026 application linked from the foundation's page through Do Some Good. Fall applications run September 1–October 15; the terms state 6:00 pm PST on the deadline. Questions: info@cufoundation.org.
Current information
The foundation distributes over 125 bursaries annually. A student may receive up to two awards a year. Winter applications run January 1–February 15.
