The Energy Job Shop Skilled Trades Scholarship is an annual $1,000 CAD award for individuals pursuing skilled trades, technical, energy, construction, transportation, and industrial workforce careers across North America.

- Students enrolled in or planning to enter a trade school, apprenticeship, technical program, or industry recognized certification.
- Workers already in the trades who are upgrading skills, adding certifications, or moving into higher demand roles.
- Individuals currently working in another field who are transitioning and upgrading education to move into a skilled trade.
- Active service members or veterans preparing to enter or re-enter the civilian skilled trades workforce.
Applicants are asked to submit a short written essay of 500 words or less explaining their career pathway, what trade or workforce role they are pursuing, and how they are preparing to succeed in a competitive labor market.
The deadline to apply is April 30 at 7:00 PM MST.
