Entente Education Canada (formerly RTOERO) offers 30 Inspire Scholarships to friends and family of its members whose studies and career goals support a healthy, active future for older adults in Canada.
How to Apply
- Eligibility
- Application
Open only to friends and family of Entente Education Canada members; members themselves cannot be awarded the scholarship, and students not associated with a member may not solicit members for sponsorship. You must be studying in a college or university program that leads to a career that will help older adults in Canada live healthy, active lives and that aligns with the Entente Education Canada Strategic Plan, in fields such as health sciences, medicine, nursing, personal care, geriatric health care, research into healthy active living for seniors, and the architecture and design of age-friendly spaces. You must be enrolled in your program at the application deadline, January 8, 2027; students still in high school at that date are not eligible. You may apply to only one Entente Education Canada program (Legacy or Inspire) per year, may receive only one Entente Education Canada scholarship in your lifetime, and cannot apply to one program after receiving a scholarship from the other.
Apply on Entente Education Canada's SurveyMonkey Apply portal: log in, choose Post-Secondary Scholarships, and select "Inspire Scholarships" as the application type. Fill out the application yourself; it asks for your sponsoring member's membership number and district name or number. Include official Confirmation of Enrollment in PDF format, issued by your college or university registrar; letters of acceptance, timetables, student account pages and transcripts are not accepted. Answer three questions in point form, using no more than 250 words per question. Applications must be submitted by January 8, 2027.
