Canadian citizens with a first degree from a Canadian university, enrolled in at least the second year of a doctoral program. Study may be in Canada or elsewhere in the Commonwealth. All genders may apply. Winners are expected to seek employment in Canada after their studies.
Send the Letter of Intent by October 1, 2026, then the full application by November 1, 2026. Use the 2027–2028 forms, certified transcripts, proof of citizenship and three references sent directly to IODE. The office accepts email at iodewarmemorial@gmail.com or mail using the funder's published instructions.
Current information
The scholarship is tenable for one academic year, paid in Canadian funds in September 2027 and January 2028.
