Full-time students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, are graduating from high school or are studying or registered at a post-secondary institution, and have never received a Kin Canada Bursary. The number of bursaries depends on that year's contributions to the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund.

How to Apply

Full-time students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, are graduating from high school or are studying or registered at a post-secondary institution, and have never received a Kin Canada Bursary. Kin Canada names recognized universities, community colleges, technical institutes and other schools for advanced education. Applicants are evaluated on community and school involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada and financial need.

Apply only through Kin Canada's online form, using that year's form, and submit only once. Don't send an application to your local club or to Kin Canada by email or mail. Applications open each year on October 1 and are due by February 1; the last round closed at 11:59 pm Pacific Time, which Kin Canada called a firm deadline. Each local club endorses one application by March 1. Kin Canada's Board of Trustees then scores the endorsed applications, and Kin Canada says scoring is based on both effort and content. Winners are notified by their sponsoring club before June 30. Questions: bursary@kincanada.ca.
