Connolly Estate Bursaries have been expanded. The bursaries are available to qualifying university students in their first, second, third, or fourth year. In addition, college students completing a joint degree may also qualify. The bursaries are open to full-time university students who are male or female, Roman Catholic, and Irish in heritage. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

- Successful applicants will be notified by December 15th, of the current year.
- Recent bursaries have been in the range of $2,000 per year. They may be lower or higher, and may vary annually, depending on market returns on the fund and the number of applicants.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered, and the applicant will not be contacted for documentation missing after the initial application review.
